Large Blue art print by Rachel Reynolds captures the largest and rarest of all British blue butterflies. Extinct in the UK since 1979, the large Blue has been successfully reintroduced on Rodborough Common near Stroud and can be seen across several sites in the South of England.
Rachel captures the Large Blue in all its finesse: its thick, dark grey wing borders and large dark spots on the forewings. ‘Large Blue’ is a giclee print on archival quality board (310gsm) with a white, acid-free mount and backing board measuring 20x20cm. Giclee prints will stand the test of time: these are used for fine arts printing, of museum quality such as those used by Le Louvre. Each print is signed by Rachel and ready to frame.
‘Large Blue’ is seen here in a chunky wooden frame for illustration purposes only. View Great Tit designs by Rachel Reynolds.
